Congrats Bert!Ravyn, sounds like she's starting to make the corner. we had 6 hatch over night, and another 11 or 12 pipped this morning. this was the first one last night.![]()
Most BCM X breeds have feathered feet- I would expect most of your chicks to have them. Here's my mystery chick that hatched--I posted over on the breed page for ideas on what it might be. From a barnyard mix with a BCM roo over a bunch of breeds. Any ideas? We'll move it to the brooder tomorrow morning probably. I'm still hopeful the other egg will hatch, but it's too dark to tell. I'm giving it until friday (day 25). And I'm picking up some eggs from my grandma's goat milk friend's neighbor to try it again! This is rather addicting....![]()
And feathers on the feet! What kind of chick has feathers?
