Most of the birds around here sell on local Facebook groups.  I will probably end up listing on Craigslist, though.  I'll sell for $3 straight run, $5 if they want me to guess on pullets.

At those prices theyd be zooming off the shelf around here, FB communities are great, but i was thinkn maybe flyers near the egg fridge? And Craigslist works but dont post ur number, screen them. Have you considered attenting a swap? Is there a regular one out there? Theres three near me, two do pretty good the last hardly has any vendors. I believe in you, If i can sell $100 day olds You can sell EEs for 3$!

I have chicks!!! Had a couple external pips last night, heard cheeping. 4 total pips this morning when I checked before work. Came home to 5 chicks so far. They're so cute!!!

Are the ones laying down yours and the verticle ones shipped? Ravyn was wonderful enough to send me a box of call eggs. They came today. Of course she packed them amazingly and the box looked unscathed on the outside, but they look pretty scrambled. I'm going to set them in the morning and do the first tilt before bed and then what else can we do, right? Good luck on the hatch, Friday!!!

one duck has been pipped going on 48 hrs. It is moving and peeping through the hole the membrane around the hole has turned yellow. Humidity is at 80%. Should I assist? The other one is still rocking the egg but no pip, day 31 for it. I don't know what to do. I don't want to lose my baby mallards.

Yup. 6 Orloffs and one EE/Orloff from my flock are laying down, and the upright ones are 4 Blue Wheaten Ameraucana and 2 Orloff I had shipped in from Arizona. They are all that's left from the 18 shipped eggs. Three look great, and three not so great, but still alive. Air cells were a little small, so I waited an extra day to up the humidity and this morning I saw some starting to draw down nicely.

Walnut, have you ever tried candle wax? I haven't, but I've read about it.

Surprising to see some of you not a fan of using Candle wax, I have used it from day one to hatching day. I've also tried the Liquid bandaid, Not a fan of it, to many chemicals that seems to kill the embryo's off at an early stage.. candle wax, actually seals it it..

Spice is still fighting... fluids and food are giving more strength... still gotta see if she'll be able to overcome the damage though...

Ruby, Lacrystol would be your best bet for asking advice and help on those Call eggs... much better than me...

I'm just not a fan of putting anything on eggs at all... if it's gonna seep, it's gonna be an issue... personally, I just see if it makes it or not... I do enough assisting and give myself headaches over the Calls, lol...
