Yes, and prime it first. Press board isn't designed to be in the weather. They use it for backing for siding.

Let it dry before you paint it. It wont hurt it to get wet but will if it stays wet.

Yea I thought I would wait till we had a dry week... when would that be??? Anyway I have some roof shingles for the roof extension but we haven't had a chance to get them up yet either. Anyway if the weather keeps me from fixing it till spring and I have to replace it I'll have learned a valuable lesson.
That's how we learn all this stuff anyway isn't it? Trial and Error. lol
