So, who all has moved there buck in with the ladies in preparation for breeding yet?

Not yet, here.
We'll be putting the rams in with the ladies in October for March lambs.

how many sheep does everyone have and how many lambs do you expect or hope to be born?

One. So no lambs. I have had sheep in the past but not for a good few years and don't own them anymore.

I took Lucy on as an emergency mercy case at 2 weeks old, she had multiple severe issues and was a goner if she didn't find someone willing to put in the time to rehab her. Even then it was extremely unlikely she'd make it. Miracles happen. And here she is today. I hope to get her bonded to a herd or at least one other animal asap, then after a year or more of building herself into good health on a decent pasture, I hope to breed her. At the moment I'm still her mum, as far as she's concerned. Doesn't like to let me out of her sight, lol.

We have 5 ewe and a buck. hoping to get 5-10 lambs born around the end of January through early February. we will be keeping the best ewe lambs and switching out bucks with our in laws, or possibly purchasing another buck as a lamb. i'd like to cross of Suffolk crosses back to a north county cheviot and then back to Suffolk. trying to produce clean heads and legs on well grown lambs.

my sheep has clean legs and head maybe shes mixed perhaps with a cheviot sheep and something else.

there are lots of clean head and legged sheep breeds. suffolk are also but i've had a lot of cross breeding through the herd that mine are out of. so i have some with some wool down their legs, and i am not that great of a shearer yet!! just trying to make it easier on myself

Maybe these links will provide you with some sample images of sheep breeds, theuglyduckling.

There are too many breeds with the characteristics you mention yours has for anyone to positively ID it from that alone. If you had a photo to show people, you'd be on your way. As it is though, I guess your best bet is to look through galleries and see if she looks like this or that breed. The info I found is limited but I'm sure if you do some searches you'll find the likeliest bet for what breed or breeds your ewe descends from.

Guess what guys! My family breeds suffix lambs and we take them to the fair every year and this year we did really good! My one lamb got light weight champion and my others got 2nd and 3rd also we took our ewes and had them winning the ewe catigories. It was alot of fun!

this is my ewe that i raised that got champion. We normally do pretty well but we have never had a champoin and its nice because I work with my lambs everyday and it has finally paid off!
