Hello to all from sunny (excuse my pun) Northamptonshire. I am a very new owner of 3 young hybrid hens.
I grew up in the rural countryside, farm animals and frugal living was as common as a cup of tea. Having chickens is my small effort on educating my children about the circle of life and where does food actually come from. Free range is not very "free range".
