-------edit-----
I still haven't decided on how to define the Sumatra egg color its pale pink, pale salmon or pale peach to me. I read up a few and see you mentioned Favarolles.
---another edit---
odd we keep a same breed and looks like we keep the same kitchen counter tops too!

I can't quite describe the color either- except that it's just off white. Some of pinker than others, but I'm not experienced enough with Sumatra right now to be picky about egg color. As long as they hatch some eggs, I'll be happy.
Hahah, well it was the cheapest granite color option and we newlyweds were on a budget. The counter/backsplash/bittersweet stem (Sherwin) walls work nicely with the warm and cool neutrals that are worked into the fireplace in the living room.
The living room is the color of the rooster's tail-- vibrant.
