Shell picked off of egg due any day

I put her in the bowl and now the vasilene has really soaked in the membrane and I can see her veins and yolk really clearly. She is definitely not ready to hatch. From what I can see, she is black or dark gray. I love this chick so much. I hope she makes it through.

Haha I am already tempted,but I know that would be a very dumb move. I would never do anything like that unless many other people on BYC said it would be a wise move. The baby is doing fine. The temp is exactly 100 . She is moving a bunch and soon I’m going to play peeping noises for her through my phone for motivation. That will be after she absorbs the yolk and blood.

Thank you guys so much! I’m so proud of this little guy for staying strong. I peeked at her to make sure she was doing well and she’s made the sweetest little peeping noises I love this baby.
The funny thing is, even though I thought it would be too cold, I’m having trouble keeping the temp low enough! Right now it is at about 99 and I just turned the heating pad to 4.

I just checked on her and I didn’t see any movement. I think I let it get a bit too cool in there, but I’m hoping she is just taking a little nap
