You have too many Drakes..Should be one Drake to the amount of Hens you have. Separate the Drakes from the Hens. Only keep one...

You say river ducks do you mean wild Mallards? Just wondering if there are more females besides your 2 for your drakes to mate with.

Where do you order them from? I have no idea how to acclimate new ones into my flock. The coop would have to be modified. Im so stressed out I'm sick to my stomach. I live in the Rochester NY area. I have country max near me. Or tractor supply. They will only sell you a minimum of 6 I don't want that. Yes the river ducks are wild ducks both mallards and females. They're plenty of river ducks but I don't know if my ducks would mate with them bc theyre not in my flock. I was hoping Rivera the wild duck that will eat from my hand would join my flock....

Beautiful ducks! Sorry i am late, busy day yesterday! Your best bet is to order Ducklings and order only females if you plan on keeping all your drakes but it sounds like you already know that some tough decisions are in the future. Meyer hatchery in ohio is most likely the closest place to you. They have a 3 duck order min but i think you would be ok with that, me i had only room for 2 ducklings so that was out of the picture...Small orders have a big shipping price tag and it nothing you can get around. If you get from TSC or in store purchase you will end up with the same out come you are in now. When people say that they got ducks from TSC and they get mostly females, i think to myself....you should play the lottery because that is some really good luck! lol

I have not figured out how to do albums so you will need to teach me.

Thank you. I have good news. I was able to get an adult female from Craigslist gonna pick her up today. I hope it helps. Im nervous about how the other guys will take to her. Ill let you guys know for sure how it goes!

Great!! You can do a look but no touching separation pen until they get to know one another. After that I would keep you females separate from your drakes. Of all those drakes, keep your most gentle, non aggressive drake for your ladies....they will thank you for it!!! Average ratio is 3-5 females per one drake, but I know you know this

There is a forum on here call "where am I, where are you" that is specific to each state, find your state thread and seek more females
