Mine love crumble feed it too them. Starter is fine too. If she was left to find her own feed it will take her some time to get use to new things. My Muscovies love their feed, bugs and I buy them greens on sale at the grocery no Spinach though. Dried meal worms is another treat.

Your right she may not come back yet I'd give her at least a week before letting her out. Sounds great she is getting use to the other ducks and them her. Love her name it's pretty just like her.

Thank you. I'm sitting in here with her I brought her some mealworms. I have to teach her my treat whistle so she know my lingo. I adore her coos. She is definitely getting used to me She's not so skittish when i come to sit in the coop. I worry about her coop it's hard to get her in it. If i wasnt in a rush to build it for her i think i would've planned it a little different. I may bring a baby gate in here so I can block off the spot by her coop and get her to go in on her own instead of having to catch up to put her in. Cause that's not helping our relationship.

I heard my ducks that way too. I'm gonna try the baby gate tonight to hopefully corner her behind her coop and just block off the path past me and her coop. It's frustrating the coop door doesn't stay open on its own. And if could redo it id put it so the door opened the other way but it was easier for me to attach hinges to wood vs plexy glass. I'm thinking maybe in a couple days I can put her with the others and use her coop for plucky at night. I dont like him in the pen unprotected. He wanted so bad to be with his other ducks but when I let him in howard went after him. I opened the coop and grabbed who I thought was plucky and pulled him out. The are mad scared of light after dark. I'm the opposite lol. Ive turned my phone flashlight on them to break up fights before....like children sometimes.:old

Solar powered lights work great because they slowly die out, I use them all the time. I keep them on the picnic table where the sun hits them all day and put them in the pen at night! Just a thought...

It was easier with the gate. Still had to scoop her up but it didn't take as long. im always afraid im gonna hurt their wings. And the tony(toe) nails as my daughter would say, are sharp!:barnie
I was thinking of building a coop for plucky so he isn't unprotected. But now I'm thinking of making one for Howard and lucky. When I put them to bed they gang bang her ( please excuse my language) i start walking away and I hear her deep wha wha I ran back and open it and I feel bad for her. If I build one for her and howard I can put plucky back with the others. He doesn't bother darkwing bC she's the alpha. I'm also thinking of renaming daisy its confusing that he is a boy. Hahaha. Here i sit with my wine stressed out over my duck tales. Lol:oops:

LOL
Your not alone in being stressed out over duck tales truth be known most of us probably do this. I wake up in the night thinking of how I can improve something out with my birds. a lot too.

What's wrong with her wings? believe they are strong best watch out you don't get hit in the face with them. And yes those are some sharp claws.

Sometimes I think I hear them when I come inside. I open the door and nothing. I swear im going duckin nuts:idunnolol. Lucky's wing is a bit roughed up from the other guys' toe nails from climbing on her. It bleeds on occasion.
