Mine clucked repeatedly this afternoon. She went under the ladder plank and kept singing while getting her chest down but backside was still up. Is this the stance they do prior to laying?

I recognized it as the proud victory song they sing after they lay an egg. Not a soft buc buc buc but more of a buc-caw buc buc-caw! I have to laugh at myself typing out chicken noises
