SHHH... Looking for quiet chickens

Audrey looks beautiful I always wanted a Japanese are those BO's in the background towering over her? Are the Japanese bantams decent layers? Are any of the true Bantams decent layers?

Yes they are Buff Orpingtons in the back ground. She is a great layer. However she does not lay in the cold. It is rare in the winter to get anything from her. But when she is laying I get an egg every day!

Here is a Photo to show her size. She is bent over eating something but you can get the idea. The orpingtons in this photo are very young and not full grown.

I agree, my polish are also very quiet I hardly hear a peep out of them, well I never hear a peep out of the hens..the roosters are a different story though.

my Bonnie is very quiet and a pretty good layer - she is very friendly and loves to be held she makes very light cooing noise when I hold her, and here eggs are about the cutest thing I have ever seen. she is pretty small - she is a black dutch banty. here is a pic of her and me together

Any Bantam breeds that lay in winter? I think they are all so cute and small. It also sound like they are very quiet. i know I have a lot of questions but I'm just curious. Does anyone have a picture of the mille Fleur Bantams. They look like they would be beautiful. Sounds like i might have to get a selection instead of just one breed.
