Shhhhhh, don't tell my chickens

Wow, Ive only got 7 hens laying & can't use up or give away my eggs fast enough ! I am the only one in my house that eats eggs. So I just scramble them up for the dogs & chickens.

I had to run to the store in the middle of making zucchini bread last weekend because we were out of eggs, too! Have to admit, I did do the "chicken math" before leaving. However, my girls are just 2.5 months old, and I didn't think the zucchini was going to keep that long (it was already grated up and in the bowl).

I've never heard of that in England.

In England, zucchini are called 'courgettes' I believe. Zuchinni bread is what you would call a tea bread, I'm guessing. (Made with baking powder/soda instead of yeast)

I guess it is difficult for your chickens to keep up with a zuchinni plant. It seems that each plant lays two zuchinni a day!

( I never plant zucchinni; I just wait for everyone else to give it to me for free!)
