Jadyn suddenly took to the skies in hawk form. She followed the gunships, slicing through the sky like a bullet.

Due to the fact that the LAAT's were flying at more than 200mph (325kph), it was all but impossible for Jadyn to try and keep pace with them. However, some of the men from the wreak site jumped on some of the BARC speeders and sped off in pursuit. They were able to match the speed of the gunships, and began following them from the streets below.

Having been trained for maximum stamina, Jadyn was able to keep her pace easily.

One of the troops in the trailing gunship happened to look back and notice a hawk flying 200mph behind them. He signaled to the pilot to slow down to the point where they were limping along at a pokey 60mph, and allowed Jadyn to pull alongside. The other gunships followed suit. One of the troops tried to draw a bead on the super-hawk but the one who had spotted Jadyn pushed the muzzle of the other troop's gun down. He then reached over and found a heavy-duty glove in some of the equipment onbraod and, slipping it on, held out his arm called to the hawk; hopefully this would prompt it to come and land close enough so he could find out how it had been flying at more than 200mph.

Jadyn landed on the man's arm, her proud blue eyes scanning him.
