Seth looked at the picture and said "Yeah, I went through this same kind of thing as well." He handed the picture back to her before pulling a small photo out of his back pocket. "This was taken when I was dating a girl named Sophie about 2 years ago. This is the only picture I have left of her, she was on the same Star-Liner with Jimmy's mom. Sure, I miss her, but I told myself that I needed to not dwell on the past so much; and you know what, it worked. I taught myself to remember the good times we had but not be sad about her being gone anymore. In fact, now it accually feels like... like she's still here with me."

She nodded and wiped a tear away.

The creature outside had heard everything they had said and now made a decision. It crept up to the back door of the cabin and gripped the door knob with a clawed, hand-like forefoot. The knob turned and the door slowly and silently swung open. Jadyn was sitting on her bed facing the front of the cabin, so she neither heard nor saw the door opening. Seth noticed and when he looked up to see what it was, he went bug-eyed. Standing there on the back porch, now illuminated by he lights in the cabin, was a Velociraptor!

Jadyn turned to see what he was looking at, and screamed. Her scream brought James and the dogs. She morphed into a panther and James morphed into a lion, both were ready to fight.

A border collie came running up.

<Whoa! Wait a second, it's alright.> the raptor said, backing up a step. Then it changed from a raptor into... "Connie!?!" Seth said, both surrprised and relieved at the same time. "I... I had no idea you had this power!" "Yeah," she said, "I never told anyone until just now because I thought they would kick me out of the Resistance if they knew."

"By the Fatherland! You almost gave me heart attack!!" Jadyn said in a sudden Irish accent, after she and James de-morphed.

"Yeah, sorry about that." Connie said. "I was distracted and forgot to demorph." Seth's heart was still racing from seeing a raptor just appear out of almost nowhere.

"What were ye doing snooping around me cabin, anyway??" Her Irish accent lingered.

"I was in the woods when you and Seth came and started talking. I wanted to help you with your problem so I followed you guys back here. I guess I may have accually helped anyways; seeing me there probably made you forget about you-know-who, didn't it?"
