She grinned, pulling out two test tubes with two different chemicals. "Ammonia and mercuric chloride." She looked around for a moment. "Er... she searched in her bag. Within a few moments she pulled out a small cup. "Check this out." She poured them into the cup, then swished it around. "See how it's purple?" She pulled out an acid tablet and dropped it in. "And now it's pink." She grinned.
 
He smiled, but he wasn't paying attention to the chemicals.

She dropped something else in, not paying any attention to James, and the chemicals disappeared instantly, leaving wispy coils of smoke leaving the brim of the cup.
