James... Mali thought, before she gave way to dizzying blackness.

Nikki hung limply. Maya tried to carry him and Nikki out of the river.

James passed out from loss of blood.

Mali's eyes dilated, she felt a sharp intake of breath, and then she was out.

Maya ground her teeth. < Jadyn, you need to take Nikki to the Med Bay! I can't take both of them! > Maya placed James on her shoulder, one paw holding him and another against the wound in his chest to try and keep him from losing too much more blood.

Jadyn grabbed Nikki, then took off towards the Med Bay.

Maya got James there as fast as she could.
