He thought hard and then came up with an idea. "Is there something that being infected doesn't allow you to do that uninfected people can normally do?" "Like, other than be able to control yourself. Is there something you could ask me or have me do that could prove I'm not lying?"

Diana cocked a brow "I have no idea..."

"Jadyn, get the Test Sequence for me." James said.

"Coming right up!" Jadyn went to the cabin that served as a lab and brought back a small machine. "Here we go!"

"Thanks." James powered up the machine and pointed it at Seth "Now, this will only hurt if you are infected." A low humming sound filled the area as the machine tested Seth's body for the fungus.

"Umm... am I supposed to be feeling something or...? Wait a... AAHHH! I THOUGHT I WASN'T INF... ohh... wait... it's not that. That horsefly just bit me, nevermind." he said.

"Only if you're infected." James replied, putting the machine away. "You're all clear."

"I'm Jadyn." She held out her hand for a handshake.

"I'm Seth. Nice to finally meet someone who isn't trying to shoot me or infect me or prod me with neetles or something." he said, giving Jadyn a firm hand-shake.

"Oh, and brainiac over there is my older brother, James." She joked.

"Nice to meet you Seth." James gave him a handshake "And don't think I didn't see you staring at Jadyn..." He jokingly warned.
