FollowingAll right, y'all. My new chicks ship TOMORROW.
I have 6 fenale chicks coming from Meyer:
The plan is to take these babies and give them to my ever-broody Silkies, Dandelion and Violet to adopt.
- Easter Egger
- Fibro Easter Egger
- Crested Cream Legbar
- Green Queen
- Buff Laced Polish
- Assorted Rare
Violet has raised babies for me in the past. Dandelion will be a first-time mama.
Here are the broodies:

Thays interesting are store almost only has easter or olive eggerI've done that most often. I wanted colored eggs this time as I sell eggs now. I checked 3 different tsc stores every week since February, but they never carried anything that laod colored eggs.
And I picked up 2 Leghorn pullets from tsc earlier this season. One is a cockerel. There is that, too: tsc and its notorious mix ups... I can't have any more boys, and rehoming has become extra roos had become increasingly difficult.
