Today I got an shipped set of eggs. There were five in total but one was utterly crushed in shipping. The strange thing was when I unpacked the other eggs they were all wet. Well more damp. Each egg was wrapped in bubble wrap and taped, so it was sealed. The box inside and outside was dry minus a few packing peanuts around the crushed egg.

My question is do you think that these eggs have a chance to hatch due to how they were shipped and received?

The risk of eggs breaking while shipping is always an issue, unfortunately. The wetness May have been from the broken egg or consensation if it was very warm. I would definitely set the eggs and hope for the best! :fl Good luck with your hatch! :jumpy

Thanks. I have had eggs break before in shipping just never got any that were all wet when opened. It made me scratch my head. I guess I will know in 7-10 days if they will take.

So an update on those eggs that came in wet. They have been sitting in the incubator unturned since I set them they are on day 4 now. I have seen some signs that a few may see growth.

Here they are A26B2DC0-8094-4542-B9B0-05863476B010.jpeg C05FBB2E-B791-4B6C-B8FF-14D0B18656DE.jpeg 3E1312D3-B683-4AC1-B23F-1969195CA93B.jpeg 1E3289CC-F9F5-4073-A3FB-FB739196DD59.jpeg

Four I am super surprised on as it has a crack along the bottom of the egg.
