I candled my shipped eggs before I set them and only one had a visible air sac

Has anyone hatched eggs like this before?

Did you let them set for 24 hours first? Sometimes, that helps the air sac to move back into place. I had some with no air sac, and they did not hatch. But, I would set them anyway. It's worth a try.

I got them Friday mid-day and set them Sunday night, so yes, they had lots of time to settle before setting

If eggs are stored properly or fresh the air sac is very very small, it may be only a few centimeters.

that's the case but the box just had my address and the return address on it, it wasn't marked "fragile" or anything and one of the sides was a little crushed so I have the feeling that it got a good jostling from the post office....

In a couple more days I'll be able to candle. I really really really want these eggs to hatch

I didn't see any in the last 24 eggs I set. My eggs were 13-14 days old when set thanks to the USPS.

All had started to develop, I had 2 early quiters, but 22 went into lockdown. So far 13 have hatched, 5 more piped and I'm still waiting on the last 4.
