Shipped eggs

You can have them in the tray but they need to be rotated during incubation. If your not able to do it, I would lay them down.

I rolled up a towel and put it under the incubator and tilted it from side to side throughout the day.
I got 3 chicks hatched

I know there are a zillion threads for shipped eggs but I'm looking for advice opinions for lockdown.
Right now I have them separated in half an egg Carton so they would fit okay in the incubator.
For hatching should I leave them like this? Cut individual cups? Or just take them out and lay them aircell up?
I really want this hatch to be successful since most of my shipped eggs don't do well but this is the first-time I learned about hatching air cell up.

Have you checked for dislodged air cells? I put mine on their side for the first 14 days then in the egg carton for the rest of the days. With the small end down. When they start piping I take them out of the carton and lay them on their side. I watch them to make sure they are doing well. Or if I might need to help a little. You can put the carton on a bottle cap first one side then the other. It’s like turning without really turning. Just move it from one corner to the other. I do it about three times a day or more.

There was a few saddle eggs but the few that were intact and I thought for sure would hatch didn't hatch

I'm no expert either, but I put my shipped call duck eggs on their sides at lockdown.

Would you recommend putting shipped peafowl eggs on their sides or leaving them pointy end down/

How do the air cells look?

Unless the air cells look really wonky. I set them in the incubator as normal(most of mine lay on the side) from the first day.

One of them was a little saddled but not too badly. I ended up laying them down.

So at 7:30 am I saw the voilet had pipping around the egg and then at 8am this morning I went back to look and he or she was out and moving around. I am a little worried though the 3 other eggs don't have any pipping on them and these eggs went in on May 10th with this one. How long should I wait to see if they need help??

This probably sounds really stupid but, how would I know? I have not opened the incubator because I don't want the air to get cold and lose humidity.
