I assume you should turn shipped eggs while letting them rest for 24 hours after receiving them?? Or should you just leave them alone?? Maybe just tilt the carton a few times?? thanks .......stan

Just let them rest pointy end down till you put them in the bator. You want the air cells to attach properly after being shipped.

If my bator is empty, I remove the turner and set it on table place eggs in it (pointy side down of course) and turn it on. I don't have to worry about turning them and they rest for 24 to 48 hrs.

I rest my shipped eggs right in an egg carton. I do not turn them or mess with them. I also do not let them rest all that long. About 8 hours and I put them in the incubator. Fresher is better, and I do not want to wait too long.

I let mine rest for about 6 hours and then when I put them in the bator I just didn't plug the turner in for the first day and a half. I got a 66% hatch rate out of my shipped eggs.

I knew this would happen!! 2 yes, 2 no.
