Ohhh... did I mention that I am also a bowtie lover?

Beautiful birds, too bad they probably didn't appreciate the ride! Are they white and dirty from shipping or are they another color?

Well look like they took shipping fine, guess maybe I would be able to ship now. As long as temps. are not to high.

Thanks Steve Did they look like they were hot when you picked them up?

Frosty, they are white. the shipper called and said they had a "gully washer" the night before they shipped. I'm thinking it came from that.

Deerman, The PO has AC so there was no telling how hot they were when they got there. From the USPS hub in Rocky Mount, NC it's about an hour trip but I don't know how many stops the truck made and I didn't pick them up for about 3 hours after they called. After they settled down some they pecked at the food and drank some water but they weren't gulping it down like they had been hot and dehydrated. If the cold front hit Brad Sunday night he shipped them right back into it heading east. We didn't get hit 'till late last night so the trip was probably cooler all the way for them.

Did I hear somewhere that PO regulations state the temperatures at both ends have to be under 80 degrees before they allow you to ship live animals?

I wish I had that as a pick up car! Mine is a '03 Focus wagon, with straw, shavings, hair and feathers all over the inside. I keep telling my husband it is the "farm truck".
Oh, the birds are nice too. LOL!
