Shipping chickens???

Hello, We have a few bantam chickens that we have been trying to get rid of. Someone from New York is willing to take them if we ship them. I have never done this before. How much would it cost?? Is it safe???? what do you ship the chickens in??? they are 5-6 months old. There would be 3 Roosters and 3 or 4 Hens.

I don't know if this is the place to ask this Couldn't decide the best spot.


Any information would be appreciated
