Shipping eggs to Canada?

I apologize, if I'm posting in the wrong section.......I have some eggs on ebay, and now see, that many ads offer only "to lower 48 and Alaska." I've had an inquiry from Alberta, Canada.

Is it illegal to ship to Canada? I should've looked into this long ago.....

I shipped iris tubers to Canada a few years ago, and they were held for two weeks at customs for inspection prior to shipping

You need health certificates to ship to Canada.

It is no longer legal for eating or hatching eggs to cross the border into Canada without proper health certificates and customs paperwork.
