Shipping fish?

I have actually been trying to find someone or someplace that would trade me a smaller goldfish for my really big one, but no such luck. It's hard to find fish in this area, the nearest pet store is at least 40 miles away. Too far to go for a couple of fish!

I do think I'll try the outdoor tank idea though, that would be the best solution right now. I'll just have to figure out how I can do it.

I worked in a pet store for several years and let me tell you...... Goldfish always look hungry. It's because of their memory, they do think that they are hungry even if they aren't. As others said, don't get a pleco. you'll have to feed it to if you don't have any algi. You should be able to find drops at WalMart that can cut down the cloudiness of the water but it is being caused from over feeding. I have 2 outdoor ponds with goldfish and koi and they only need a couple of pellets a day per fish. for 2 medium size I'd only give them 6 pellets AT THE MOST. And never feed flakes, they will dirty your tank even more.

I do feed them pellets, as I had heard that the flakes made it worse. So would that be 6 each or 6 total?
