Should a brooder have a dust bath, branches, ect...?

I have two little chicks in a home made brooder. What all should I put in it for them, crooked branches to play and climb on, a dust bath, ect...Any ideas?

Since I use pine shavings in my brooder, my chicks dustbathe in it. I put 2x4 roosts in after 3 weeks when they start flying. Some use it, some don't.

I also use pine shavings and some bird perch sticks. Also I put some small branch logs in the bottom they love getting on them.
