What part of the words "Hank Williams, Jr" do city folk not understand? He is who he is and I'm sure the money from using his song is quite inconsequential to him...big deal. You have an organization who regularly pays millions for players who are drug dealers, drug users, felons, baby's daddies....you name it, they are playing football for this organization, and they want to go all fussy over something some old country boy says about a golf game???

Get a life. No, get a couple, as they seem to use them up on frivolous pursuits.

I think the whole trying to account for what everybody say's and issuing responses and retort's and the whole CYA mentality is getting out of hand. I don't have a problem with what he said, just the venue in which he chose to display it. He knows as a celebrity people watch your every move, he could have chosen better words but the guy just want's to heard and send a different message. The last few years I have become very bored with political correctness............ I mean really.......... I am not running for office LOL......... If free speach is so important to us as Americans why are constantly waging a media war over every little thing someone says. And who it offends or doesn't and why.................. So I listen to you.............. you listen to me......... we decide later who get's socked in the nose. I don't feel good about having to beware before I make what are innocent comments that can be contrude as objectionable by someone who just happened to over hear me and jumps me for it............. see it. IDK anymore.

Ahh nothing better than being able to make rude comments about former president because it was the norm, but once a comment goes after the all mighty prince it's a horrible offence.

No reason for him to be cast out for his comment, it was not what many are making it out to be. So much trash being spouted by elected officials.....I think they need to be held accountable but from an entertainer...paleeeze.

Because we have become a people who have traded freedom for security,who believe the tv people,actors,tv doctors and scientists who tell us what to do,what to eat,whom to see,where to go and how to do it. Most of us dont even use our own minds,we let others tell us what to do.

If I said something on tv about the prez and had my employers banner behind me,I would know Id get the axe.Plain and simple. Maybe their is an underlining story,maybe something was in the works,maybe he has a hidden story about mnf that others dont know and he just hit a nerve that he was planning to do.

I on the other hand dont watch mnf. I am not a fan of any tv sport that promotes people to "buy" their wears so the big time football heroes can drive in their luxury cars.I have no jerseys because I dont do "free advertising". I think its a waste of time and valuable brain space.
