Wow!!! That's a long time! I just got my very first pip ever and I keep looking to see if any more pips and if my early bird is making progress. I so want to lift that lid and make sure it's OK. But I'm not touching it. Never knew this excitement, suspense of new chicks before. My very first hatch. So I'm following along to learn.
Really? I just thought it's an early bird. Is that uncommon? Or Should the others be pipping also? It's over 24hrs away since i would have set them Sat 21 days agoTemp problems I'm thinking..Anyways just keep trying
Keep waiting....Really? I just thought it's an early bird. Is that uncommon? Or Should the others be pipping also? It's over 24hrs away since i would have set them Sat 21 days ago
It's all good, all normal. Just breeeeeeathe!Really? I just thought it's an early bird. Is that uncommon? Or Should the others be pipping also? It's over 24hrs away since i would have set them Sat 21 days ago
O definitely!!! They aren't exactly due to hatch immediately... And the not looking paid off! The first one is still just a pip but another one is zipped and my children are enthralled!!! And they are so quiet and gentle and making sure not to bump the incubator or anything. They are worried it's too weak but I told them it just needs breaks cuz it's hard work. Amazing!!!Keep waiting....
I thought it was normal but the temperature warning had me thinking maybe I should be concerned and wasn't. Thanks so much for confirming. It's all good, all normal. Just breeeeeeathe!
The chicks need to learn to use their lungs....now you use yours!![]()
I'm hatching brown egg layers not sure of breed, just got fertile brown eggs that were for eating and also a couple of my very own silkie roo/ sizzle hen...I remember when I got my first egg...I was so freaking excited! I my explode with my first hatching! Good luck! And let us know!
BTW: what are you hatching?
I didn't mean to interrupt your thread! Joined in as I was looking for the same help and ideas and waiting for the first babies.. best wishes!! What are you hatching? Not interfering but got back ache as I've been say on a little plastic chair just watching for 2 hours... Need to get a life I have another egg in there too at the same age but nothing from that one at all is that normal (I'm starting to act like an interfering grandmother)
