I bought my new creole old English game bantams from cackle hatchery and I have noticed that her feet are black in some spots. I don’t think it is frostbite as the weather has been warm and not to sure on infection as because their is no swelling in the foot and no signs of bumble foot. Note they are show chickens can I still show them. Any thoughts or idea maybe a vet trip if this continues?

How many do you have? How old are they? Are they straight run (both sexes)?

Have you observed their activity? Watch for a possible foot pecking culprit. Those appear to be pecking bruises on the toes.

Show photos of the whole bird please.

Could be color leakage, hard to know. I think the feet would need to be all the same color, no blemishes, but you'd have to look up the standard of perfection guidelines for the breed.

They should be straight run that’s what the website said and they don’t seem to be pecking each other but I can watch and I have 4 and one other hen has some of the black spots but it’s just 2 scales and my porcelain duccles don’t have black scales

And the coloration on all of the hens is different one is a light brown and the other is dark but with hardly any white stripes

Yes. I'm not sure the exact science behind it, but after the old scale falls off, the new scale underneath is the regular color.
Of course, I'm not sure if this is what's going on with your chicken, it's just a possibility. I can see if I can get any pictures of my chickens feet if they're shedding any leg scales once I'm home today.
