This is a really cool duck house! I would definitely recommend putting them in at night, if they fell asleep too close to the fence a raccoon can grab them and do horrible damage. I’ve heard of birds getting killed by raccoons through chicken wire which is much smaller than the fencing you have. Other than that this design is awesome and you have some very happy ducks there.

Raccoons are all over North America and into Central America. I can't say that they are or aren't in your neighborhood, but they live everywhere - rural areas as well as towns and cities. They seem to enjoy reaching through fences to get to poultry according to others who have had problems here on byc. Even if you just put a foot or two up the side of 1/2" hw cloth, it would offer your feathered friends a bit more protection especially at night. Though predators attack during the day too.
Is your wire bolted on the bottom somehow? If not, I would wrap it under the boards of the run to at least give it more structural integrity - Something like a dog could potentiality push it in.

Yes the wire is attached to the run. I will look for the wrap to put around the bottom.
