Should I breed them together or not?

Hi, I have this silkie pullet and I don't know if it’s worth breeding her to this chocolate rooster. He is my only somewhat compatible color rooster. But he is not as good quality as she and I don’t know if the babies will turn out good. They are both 4 months old. Also what color the babies would turn out?

Well, I think you should try.
I would leap at the chance to purebreed, you only live once, and so do your chickens.

He seems to me to be a lesser quality than the pullet but what do I know I was not trying to tell you what to do . I was trying to tell you what I would do . I always try to improve standard breed
Sure don't worry but is it possible that in that chocolate line roosters are not the best but hens are good cos from the breeder I got my chocolates her hens look amazing but the roosters look similar to mine. This is the pullet that is hatched from the same eggs as my rooster.

If she’s blue and he’s chocolate... which I think that’s what they are, but I can’t tell very well because the lighting on my phone is bad. You’ll get muave and chocolate pullets and you’ll get black and blue cockerels.

Wait... is he sex-linked chocolate or incompletely-dominant chocolate?
