Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

Yay babies!!!! Pics from both of you please!!!
Today was quite an eventful day!

Chicken coop came and I spent the time to put on licks and reinforce the windows with hardware cloth! So the babies are outside in it enjoying the extra room! I know I know I'm going out now to get pic!!!

On a more exciting note I saw my first dust bath today. They were doing it in the coop because the ground has been so frozen!!! But after a few warm days in a row the ground is finally thawed!!!! And boy did they enjoy it!!!!

Wow your chicks don't mess around! I bet you promised them pie. I should go offer mine some pie. That might help. What day are you on? Today is 20 for me.

Today was day 21 for me. I am addicted to hatching. It's quite horrible really. Lol. Because I love it I sell the chicks for cheap or just give them away.

the day is not over yet - I still have to go make one more check for eggs in about an hour... but I have TWENTY FOUR EGGS!!! 4 from the Fosters, and 20 from the Dome! best egg day yet! I sold 4 dozen today, expect to sell as many tomorrow, and I hard boiled 2 dozen for myself for the week.

and double yes! because it seems that my blue Cochin, Delilah, is wanting to be broody. she is constantly sitting on everyone's eggs...

Now,, for my news. Remember the EE I have spent a YEAR complaining about? The little stinker laid an egg!

It was April the last time she laid! It is green, and very odd shaped, but it is her's!
