What a fluffy mama! Why don't you put the incubator gang with Squirt? She's in the broody zone and will probably take them all.

I would definitely try it! My girls didn't hatch any and they took the incubator babies perfectly!

Well you guys are so smart. I'm keeping at least 6 and at most 8. So I gave her two that I know I want to keep (I hope these are frizzled). The babies seem a little freaked out but squirt seems ok.

Just got my first pip on the next round!!!!

Next week I'm playing musical chickens. The teenagers in the pen will go in the coop and I'm going to move squirt and babies into the pen. That will give them more room and means I won't have to brood in the house!

All you can do is try! And Squirt has lots of warm fluff for lots of babies. As long as they have a box or some place draft free at night, it should work.

Speaking of try, I just tried adding the second clutch of babies in with the older first hatch. Everything seemed fine at first, but the new mama saw the week old chicks as a threat and was starting to pick on one. So, fail. We'll rig up a second run right next to the first so they can get used to each other.

More pips! You are going to have sooooo many chickies! My problem with the Seramas is we don't want to sell any until they grow out so Mustacheio can pick which ones to keep for his project. Then we'll get attached and want to keep them all!!

Haha!!! I'm the same W4W! I'm attached even at a day old. But my coop can't handle this many.

I have a friend who wants either a baby or two or a couple if older girls. I have 10 15 week old hooligans and would be willing to part w two of them too so we'll see.

Squirt isn't being mean to the two newbies but they seem unsure of what to do. It's pretty warm today so they prob feel no need to snuggle yet. Tonight will only be 60 so they should be ok. I'll check them later to see if they snuggle in eventually .

If I thought chickens were fun there is nothing like hatching them!!! This could be a problem!!!!

Yayaya the two new additions are snuggled under momma's wing. I didn't give her all of them but I do think she would be able to take them all!!!
