Well squirt and babies went in the grow out pen so that means tomorrow is...clean out coop day. Can't wait!!!! It'll be so pretty and smell so good after tomorrow. Tho it really doesn't smell at all. Gotta love DLM!!!

Now that the weather is nice I'm going to stop feeding them in the coop. Just have to rig up some cover for rainy days!

Also now that squirt is in the grow out pen I can sit easier w her and the babies. Can't wait to start taming them.

OK I been free range for the last hour. Ole tight azz broke out some meal worrms. Been chowing down. I'm not going in tillthe party is over

today I noticed a huge change in 2 of the 4 hens combs and wattles. like in one day it's different, they grew and got redder. could eggs be here soon? funny thing is it's one rock and one red, the rock and red look the same as they did last week...... waiting and watching, have a couple easter eggers coming in next week about 20 weeks old. hope to keep things happy in the coop. actually while we were working cleaning etc the mature rock went in the nesting area made some noise and came back out in a few minutes, could she be wondering about how she's changing and what she's suppose to do.

Congrats! This weekend when the new coop gets here... I will try to see how integration works. If Rumples will go into the coop and I sneak the little ones in at dark. They are free ranging together today. The big girls haven't gotten too close except for once and there were no squabbles. I use DLM also. Do you have a linoleum floor in your coop??
