Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

if you need help finding a breed at a great price, go to the Golden Seabright's hatchery help

thanks everyone. I hope it's something specific to just him as well. everyone else is fine... so far anyway... they're out ranging, because the kid came back to do some more digging... it's too hot... he brought his girlfriend, so cute... she watched the flock until I got home from work and she refreshed all their waterers... nice kids.

Glad the rest of the flock is good, but so sad about poor Rhody.

Necropsy is a great idea. Hope they can do it and set your mind at ease. (They'll want the body kept refrigerated.)

How wonderful to have someone responsible watch the flock for you. And give them water! A+

yes you can give them shrimp tails/shells, they'll love them.

it stinks big time to lose one, no matter how. my whole world feels heavy today. I just can't seem to get out from under it.

Ha!  looks like maybe she might actually LAY AN EGG??? :fl
I heard a cackle I've never heard before, so ran outside thinking it was her eggs song. She's been very restless, jumped up on the back if my chair, just cackling and wandering around aimlessly.
Now she's been holed up in there for about 15-20 minutes.

She's sitting on a fake egg...kind of in a trance lol
