We had one odd spring day in the middle of winter the other day and there was the egg. I'm hoping it's just the weather?
winter with the shortening days will give you less eggs for those of you in the summer hemisphere.Lol.... I have looked everywhere for a hidden nest. And since Ratchet has been after them again I have been keeping them in the run until my husband gets home and I can set out with them. Everyone has really slowed down lately. I think maybe it is the heat....?
As for the hot weather, if you have never wormed your chickens, you should do so ASAP, worms can really take a toll on production and flock health.
