Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

aww TN, Mylee starts nursery school next week! she met her teacher and saw her classroom yesterday, she was thrilled and called me to tell me her teacher is beautiful and nice and they did puzzles and talked and such... I'm thrilled for her and can't wait to see the pics from her first day! I'm 2000 miles away and I'll be teary...

. and 14 Eggs. house is clean... that's a plus. but I would so rather have been outside with my babies. I got another Dogloo today too - for Esther, but because of the rain, I didn't set it up or move her yet. tomorrow... and there are 2 more Dogloo's coming my way, the hens love to lay their eggs inside, so I'm happy to have them! especially because they are free... those units are expensive!

I just changed that post :) We are saved! im very sorry

No need to be sorry! We all do it from time to time.

All this talk about little ones starting school got me to thinking about my youngest starting 1st grade. I walked her in hand in hand, we got within sight of her room and she let go of my hand and said " I will go by myself from here. I'll be ok daddy" I stopped and watched her walk into her room and left and cried like a baby because my baby had grown up and didn't need me anymore. Lol

"You can let go now daddy, you can let go. Oh, I think I'm ready to do this on my own. It's still a little bit scary. But I want you to know. You can let go now, Daddy. You can let go."
That song is so bitter sweet!

We stayed for the second movie but it was cold and I didn't like it much. Oh well. We had fun and didn't get eaten by bugs like we have in the past. I call it a win!

Then when I got home at 12:30 I went to see if anyone had laid any roost eggs and viola! Found one and a suspicious wet spot that might have been one but I don't know what would have happened to the shell and anyway its not like they hopped down from the roost in the dark to eat it so maybe it was just wetness from some particularly juicy poop. They were all busily making piles of poop.

I wonder who is doing it. Wilson and penny were above it but Maggie was next to them. I guess we will see who doesn't lay tomorrow and that will be my top suspect. Aside from being bummed that that's one egg we won't be getting to eat or share, I also wish it had been blue. Can't wait to see a blue egg! Another day!
