5 eggs today.

I think Hedwig might be back to laying because I find it hard to believe I"d get 5 eggs 2 days in a row....since I can't tell the difference between the blue eggs, I'll just have to wait til I get 3 blue eggs in a day to know.

Today we are finally getting rain!

I bet the hens slow down laying today but we need the rain!

Wow, you guys have been busy, I'm super tired right now but when I get home it's light enough for me to see the girls before they go to bed which makes me happy.
I have made large piles of sticks for bugs to creep into for them to have fun finding, we still have lots of autumn leaves on the ground so I have been raking then up to put in the run as something to play in
Zazzles and babs seem to be laying one the same day, then alternating for two days and then the cycle repeats. Still no change in the little girls sigh......
Sold some eggs and got an order for more.

Thats about all I have to say, Cheeka how are the eggs progressing under gossy's fluffy feathers?

SIX.... SIX... today we laid SIX!!!!
And I have an order for 3 more dozen. It has been raining non stop for a few days now and it is unusually warm. Its about 50 right now and normally we should be around 36. I turned the infrared lamp off and unplugged the waterer.
It has been 2 weeks since the water damage and I am still dealing with the insurance problems. We got the check today, but now I have to send it to the mortgage company and wait for them to issue me half the money. Grrrrrr.......

What the fricker frack?????

btw.... I turn 60 tomorrow.
