Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

MC, can I be nosy and ask why you are babysitting so much for your lovely little niece? Croup is scary. My youngest had that with bronchitis and viral induced asthma at the same time. He was about 18 months.

My mom caught a wild sourdough yeast and kept it going in the fridge for something like 15 years. I remember her feeding it. Just what we needed, another pet!

I started one in 1984 but switched to Carl's in 2009.

Mom is a self centered idiot and dad wants mom happy. Mom is supposed to be away at school. Dad is running himself ragged as a home health nurse.
The original schedule was
Grandma and two aunts Friday-Monday. Daddy and his mother into Wednesday.
Me into Thursday.
Neighbor at apartment into Friday.
I guess the schedule got messed up, because I had her last Friday-Monday, now into this Friday.
I know sourdough gets better with age, and adding some wheat flour adds flavor. I'll send for the starter.

Peggy has not layed since that first egg, I think she was just proving that she could. :)

I have spotted them sneeze a couple of times, should I be worried? They seem completely normal other than that. :)

Well, I'm sure they appreciate you and express their undying gratitude at every opportunity.

At least you get the best of them... the baby!

So I'm trying to make sense of that schedule and I'm wondering if the baby ever spends the night at her own house? That's a crazy schedule!

You guys wanna see the whipper snapper I sometimes get conned into babysitting for overnighters? Hang on let me get a pic off my phone...

Great information here!

Click on get starter--It is free, except for the cost of a stamped self addressed envelope.

Getting this starter will save you up to a years time in getting the starter going well enough to raise bread without yeast.

excellent! DH has been hinting for sourdough, but I never had luck with the starter. Yes, we need a refrigerator pet!
