Only getting two eggs yesterday was a good thing! Two hands, two eggs! She hasn't collected eggs in a while because the turkey pen (where the chickens were for the last few months) wasn't clean enough. She would have been picking up poop.

Not to mention all the holes the chickens dug.
Anyway! She has improved her walking skills, and understands "get the eggs" now so it went really well! The first trip was before any eggs, but the second trip... "Egg! Egg! Egg! Egg!"

She was eggcited to say the least!


Look at that reach! Such a pro! She doesn't even have to look at what she's doing!

she is so beautiful and full of joy for the simple act of finding eggs - makes me miss Mylee... who will turn 6 in 3 days. I sent her a neat-o hot wheels recumbent bike and a pair of very colorful pants to wear with her pink cowgirl boots... she got the bike early, so she's riding it already... she'll get the pants today, because it's show and tell day, and her item has to be something that starts with the first letter of her first name. so she has a piece of mail. addressed to her, inside are her new pants. another M... for multicolored. she doesn't know what's inside the envelope yet... bet she wants to change her clothes at school....
