Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

Ive got ducks in the incubator. I ordered a lot of eggs and the seller sent me nearly a dozen Long Island duck eggs. I have a small pond so I hope they hatch. Ive never hatched and ducks before so this should be fun.!!

Hmm. I may have messed up something. I was writing a post somewhere, when I may have accidentally hit "clear the editor". Now, all I can do is type. Is there a way to undo this, even though it happened a week ago? Sometimes I just get so happy that words aren't enough and I need the visual image of a happy face.

Had been reading for a long time, but the one thing that got me join this sight was to be able to use the smileys! Must have smileys!! Long time ago, I had a similar problem, but can't remember why. The only thing I can think is to go into your profile and look at your preferences. There is a choice for rich text editor, or something like that. Make sure it is on. There is a thread to ask questions about stuff like this. If you can't fix it, we'll see about finding help from someone who can.

Wonderful! Wish I had a pond. Heck, wish we'd get some rain so the pond wouldn't be dry like everything else around here! Never heard of Long Island ducks. Have to look them up. We will be expecting pictures!

I don't think there's much cuter than a duckling.

I can't begin to to tell you how bad I want them to be here and settled!

If I don't find that iPod, there is no way I will be leaving here for the New Year (and the ducklings hatching!).

if I had a pond... you know I'd have ducks. my nosy neighbor has ducks. the ducklings are always so cute... but I have to say that chicks are a tie. baby everything else is a close 2nd.

she has 2 or 3 eggs left, and it's warm tonight - staying in the 40's overnight and warm tomorrow, near 60. hopefully they will finish hatching and I can move them into the Chicks & Mama's section.

They're so purty!

Ducklings have the edge for me because of the little pat pat sound they make when walking on a hard surface. Also, I had pet ducks as a kid, but the chickens were just chickens. I think chickens have more personality, though.

Ducks are supposed to be better than dogs.
I saw an article today WARNING to not play too much with ducklings because they imprint too easily, and won't be "well adjusted" if they don't bond well with other ducks. Hah! I want them to love me!
