Once the sectional is gone, I may be tearing up the carpeting in the living room. You guys remember years ago when I took the top few layers off, and discovered that the floor underneath is mismatched slats of wood. I have enough oval rugs to cover the majority of the floor, so I think that I will strip the floor all the way down for cleanliness purposes. A.k.a. allergies! The padding under the carpet-as well as the carpet - is deteriorating quickly. It's very old, full of mold, and doesn't come clean.
I have an art desk with a light in it downstairs in the basement. It's one of those Crayola or Fisher-Price ones. With the sectional gone, and that recliner out of the playroom/nursery I can bring up the art desk for Duckling. She's really not ready for crayons, but she will be soon. I gave her a sheet of stickers with you it is ago, and it kept her entertained for about an hour. I assume everyone here has been offered a Disney movie club membership. I always knew those stickers that came with the ad would be handy for something!
When the new baby comes, I think I will keep him in my bedroom for the first few months like I did Duckling. Then he will probably go upstairs with Duckling. I have a good rocking chair. I'll just have to get used to it again. My nephew Andrew is 20 now. It has been a long time since I've had to rock him in the
at chair!
