Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

To be honest.... if given a choice, I'd rather be cold than hot. I can put more clothes on plus I have more energy when I am cold. When it's too hot.... I melt. But.... warm is good... like 70.

I so agree with this!!!! You can always add more layers or move around more to warm up. You can only take off so many clothes.... :lau

That's hubby's argument, too. I get it, but I neeed the sun. And I need my dogs to go outside, and they are little divas about the cold.

Mine is almost depressed without snow LOL but he HATES rain and sleet. And loves to roll around on the grass in the sun. He loves both lol

Personally I hate being frozen, such a negative experience, but I get really easily dehydrated in the summer so O hate heat. I like 60s and low 70s, not high 70s

I remember the snow when I lived back east as a kid. Red galoshes over my shoes is what we wore. No comfy snow boots then. One time I was playing in deep snow, over the tops of my galoshes. It filled up my boots, melted a little, refilled, refroze, melted a bit more, refroze. After a while I couldn't feel my feet anymore, and I couldn't get my boots off. All that snow had packed in around my shoes and turned to ice. I remember my mom putting me in the bathtub and running warm water into my galoshes. Finally, with much tugging and uttering of naughty words (that usually only dad said), she pulled my feet out, chunks of icy snow flying, the shoes still stuck in the galoshes. I thought it was funny and didn't understand why mom was so mad (and maybe a little scared). Then my feet started stinging. Oh boy did I cry! After that, I was always very careful to keep my snow pants over the tops of my boots. I was 5 or 6. I can still feel how that hurt, like my feet were going to break off. Didn't know at the time that it was a good sign!

Snow is pretty, but the polar bears can have it!

LOL that story is great!!

And haha true, 70s is iffy for me. I go back and forth though. Some days I like being warm and 70s is nice but other days i like it cooler. I too love sweater weather hence why i loooveeee fall. Though I actually really kind of hate sweaters so for me and lot of other youngins it's hoodie weather aka sweatshirts :D

Fall is my favorite too. It's one thing I really miss, since we don't really get a nice fall in this part of California. It's dry and the ground is crunchy. And then it rains, if we're lucky, and the ground is mucky until the weeds start to grow. But we don't have to worry about snow in the winter, so I'm good with the trade off.

Voting is open now! Pick an outfit for church. The dress is diaper revealing when she bends over, but she's wearing tights.

So which one did you choose? I like the first one, but only because it looks warmer for winter weather. They are both cute. Does Duckling have a preference? My fist son wore lots of adorable blue jean overalls. I saved them all since I figured either a boy or girl would be able to wear them in the future. Son #2 came along and would NOT wear overalls. He was about Duckling's age, and adamant about no overalls. Sheesh! I sold them at a yard sale.

I think a 4th chick has decided to be a cockerel. Her comb has a tinge of pink today. That only leaves 2 possible girls, and I am suspicious of one due to behavior. 4 out of 6 is bad, but 5 out of 6 is just not fair! And means I will probably have to hatch out a few more this spring.
