Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

Are you two calling me sick in the head?

Only if you've got a head cold!

We are always so worried about screwing up our kids. It's 50% genetics, you know. As long as you are trying, she will be just fine. I sometimes see little kids that I just want to take home with me. I know the 50% environment part is not getting taken care of, and I could give them a fighting chance for a good life.

Do you read the vip interviews? Mississippifarmboy had an amazing story to tell. I cannot put it out of my mind. Here's the link he had in his interview. Worth the read. https://mississippifarmboy.wordpress.com/2015/05/10/throw-away-boy/

The woman's husband said that he would cut off a few inches so that it would fit into my bathroom. The woman and I both agree that that is sacrilege, and would also ruin the counter. That might just be cutting off the edging. If he edge extends about 3 inches on each side, it wouldn't be a problem. I have a hate vent that makes the counter too long by two or 3 inches.
The next problem would be that the counter is too deep. I would have to get to the toilet sideways between the counter and the tub. Then, going to the bathroom would be fun. As it is, I occasionally hit my head on the sink if I'm in a hurry. Obviously, I will not be wearing chaps for a while. But, the point is that with chaps on it would be too tight of a space between the toilet and the counter. Or any other stiff pants for that matter. I just don't know what wiould be stiffer than leather.
OKay, I really do need to get some sleep.

I am using a Maxwell House coffee can for my sourdough. I've ignored it for a couple of days, and there is fuzz up on the shoulders. There is no hooch though ironically. Do I just use a paper towel to wipe away the fuzz?

Yes!

Sourdough is fine unless it turns pink. Gray is recoverable.

Wipe off the fuzz, toss all put half a cup and then add 1C flour and about 3\4c warm, 80 degree water.

Also, get something that is not metal for the starter. Starter should be in a crock or glass. Plastic will work but long term storage in metal is not good.

Remember, I will mail a start to anyone that sends me an address. I have some dried and ready to go.

Sourdough stuff here:

I'm sorry. The can is plastic.
Fortunately, I keep a starter in the refrigerator, and just take care of it when it needs taken care of. Its in glass. My starter actually turns one year old on the 10th! It has spent most of that time in the refrigerator, but lately I've been using it a lot more often. The reason for the coffee can full, is because I have been making a lot of stuff lately. I am using about two or 3 cups at a time, about every other day.
I had forgotten about it when Duckling got so sick a few days ago, and then I was just so sick I couldn't deal with anything.

Great!

As long as it does not have pink mold it will be fine.
