Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

It's amazing the amount of comments that are outraged saying it will make many breeds obsolete.

I saw an irate person saying it was inappropriate for BYC to post such garbage!

wow. That was a LOT more work than I expected, but all the chicks are settled in the coop and all the grannies are back in bed. They got quite freaked out when I stuck the chicks in there even though it was dark. Next obstacle...keeping the chicks from sleeping in the nest boxes. With my grannies it was easy - I simply blocked them off until 16 weeks or so. With these guys, not so simple. I made sure tonight theye settled somewhere they are not going to be hit by falling poop from the grannies too...that's another hazard. Oh boy.

So cute and happy Friday! They have been deleting all comments about April Fool's day so thinking it may be a prank. But it does seem really cool and believable and I believed it until people started reminding everyone today is April Fool's day so who knows. I am gullible though LOL probably makes me seem rather stupid. I mean it is genetic. How could feed change it. But we'll see. It's beeen crazy winday lately. . Yesterday was my birthday but I don't feel any older lol Today we got SIX eggs. Wow. Including one from the other EE. 5 this morning in ome box then I checked back later and there was another. They started Sunday the 20th (March) so not long ago and we've only been getting 2 a day with the occasional third or fourth more recently. So exciting. Let's hope it keeps up and doesn't drop back down to 2 a day lol OH! And the day before yesterday we finally got the wood to build the new coop!

Yeah, that's the funny part. I never remember a prank. Or if I do I just am gullible enough to fall for every one I've been off and on though but still, I somehow must have just missed every prank. It's a fun idea though

I can't remember what last years prank was but I remember falling for it!

I was quite careful not to bring up this 'magic feed' until it had turned midnight where I live.
