Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

I figured out which chicken has been laying the pullet bullets. She has laid one a day since she started, although only the first one was in the nest. The rest have been in the farthest corner of the coop that I have to really work hard to reach. GRRR. It is Titan, our EE with the impressive beard and muffs. Shame they're blue though. I already had 2 blue layers, i was hoping for some shade of green.

if this place was down on Long Island with a quarter acre it would be a million. 5 acres... probably between 3.5-5 million

it's location location location... but we're out of the flood zone and it's very private up here. I would like to ask for more, but there are few comparable properties... lots of big houses with either hundreds of acres or small lot, or a dump with more acreage... and the market is tough here now, I need to get outta here, so it's priced to sell. the Master Bedroom is very out of date, I left room in budgets to paint and redo the carpet...

2 showings today, and now 1 on Sunday. piling up! someone please put in a bid!

Good luck! Someone will want it. It's a nice property, relatively flat so it's usable. And I love having a fireplace!

Last house hubs and I sold bepfre the one we are in now, we did a ridiculous amount of work painting everything and refinishing the stairs and upstairs hallway. We had installed a hardwood floor in the living room several years earlier, and it was in perfect shape. The house sold, for a bit lass than we'd hoped, and the people covered everything with this hideous carpet. The stairs, the hall, even the living room. They also repainted the walls to match the hideous carpet.

Wish we had never gone back to see. All that work for nothing. And it was really hideous!

LOL. I can relate to that.
In the Salvation Army, everything you buy must be approved by headquarters. That means furniture and repairs/remodels.
We had just purchased new furniture for one of the quarters before moving away. The new officers moved in, bought all new furniture without approval, and put the piano out on the curb for trash!!
There were other things that they did, but those were the most offensive to us. We had purchased some very nice furniture. And the piano… how do you just put a piano out on the curb for trash?!

a house I rented on LI years back had a piano, they tried to move it out when they left and couldn't get it off the porch... so it stayed there until I got enough help to move it back in... it was a nice upright, and I enjoyed playing with it. I took lessons for years and back then... actually remembered quite a bit. couldn't do much with one today.

the house is under contract. first people who looked at it offered full price. so now... if anyone else wants it, they have to offer more and back and forth it will go! doesn't matter, I got exactly what I asked and as far as I'm concerned, it's done. people are coming in a half hour to look... and the family who was here this afternoon were very enthusiastic and obvious that they loved it... so we may have a bidding war. the house is worth significantly more than I'm asking. I just have to get out of here. trouble now is, if it goes to this person, the closing is scheduled while I'm at the Mayo Clinic. have to either change the date or see if my lawyer will do it without me there...

oops, my bad, it was 7:30... and they showed up. they're walking the property now... they are familiar with the house/land, but have never been inside. guess they live less than 5 minutes away, they came on a 4 wheeler... lol
