Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

I'm so sorry.

here's the picture from the night of the dance

then yesterday, it snowed...

and that front tooth is wiggly again - for really real! it will take another day or two to fall out, less if I can keep her wiggling it. I'm hoping to get a video of her pulling it out. she knows I want to...so fingers crossed!

yes, she has lip gloss on... thankfully, it wears off pretty quickly...lol hopefully, she'll have a better date for prom than her Uncle Charlie...

the pug in the photo on the wall is Clara. my first pug. she was 6 months old and took possession of my mom's fur jacket. she was not happy to give it back. Clara was one of those dogs who could say I love you. she could also say Ya Where Were You, and if you asked her what's your name, she would open wide and say LaRa! I miss her... I had an 8mm video camera back then, no cell phones in those days. I have no idea where the tapes are of her singing and such, but they are somewhere among the unpacked treasures...

Hahaha! LaRa. One of my mom's would say Rie wan sum more! It was pretty impressive. Ask her if Sofie wanted some more, and she would answer! Belle is very talky in the morning. Sounds like she is saying hello, but what she really wants is breakfast!.

The tree is finally set up in the house, but still not decorated. It's a pretty little tree, they were expensive this year because of the drought. But I do love to have a tree at Christmas. Already smells nicer in the front room.

Are you going to have a snowy white Christmas? Looks like ours will be green and muddy brown, but never a complaint if we are getting rain rain rain!!

we have about an inch on the ground now, supposed to get some snow on Wednesday. as for Christmas, we'll see... it would be nice, as long as it isn't too much, or stick around too long. there's over a foot of fresh snow at the old house in NY. they can keep it!

I can so hear a dog saying Rie wan sum more!! Chester makes great big mushed on lovey noises, groans and mumphing...but not much else except for barking. the occasional Oh-Goo when he yawns... when he's getting loves from more than one person, he really hams it up - stretching his legs, putting his rump up and moaning, smiling his goofy face off... should make a video.
speaking of videos... Wrangler refuses to wiggle her tooth. she's afraid. I'm afraid it will tighten back up. apparently, she knocked it hard against a cup the other night when it was loose and bleeding. she has a really nice space forming for a proper sized adult tooth, so tough noogies...it's coming out even if I have to take her to the dentist!

News said the Polar Vortex is heading back down from Canada, affecting central and eastern northern areas. Brrrr. Aren't you glad you moved?

There is a common nightmare that people have about losing their teeth. I think there was a scene like it in the movie Poltergeist. Maybe we have some primal fear of losing our teeth. You did tell her about the Tooth Fairy didn't you?

When the boys were little, I was always worried about them falling and smashing their teeth. I had to bite my tongue so many times! Don't know where it came from, but it was pretty close to being a phobia.

I think the fear of losing teeth gained traction with the radiation poisoning movies. When someone gets sick from it, one of the first symptoms they show is losing teeth.

Brush and floss! Gotta keep those teeth....

I just know that because they can leak poison to the heart, and are located so close to the brain...teeth are essential to keep healthy. she knows all about the tooth fairy. she's stubborn.

I get the spine chills so easily now it's ridiculous. used to only be for good thrills, like watching Wrangler's dad jump 80' on his dirt bike...now, when the dog stands on her hind legs, I get the willy's like her legs will snap. so...yeah, when she's roller blading or bicycling, there's a lot of times I can't look. she's going to get bonked...

I found a new handyman who looks like a keeper! he'll reconstruct the cabinets/wall in the kitchen where the fridge doesn't fit and help me build a chicken coop/run. can't wait can't wait can't wait!
