Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

I finally achieved a perfect day! Got 6 eggs from the 6 pullets!

Sooo happy! The 6th pullet has finally started laying.

I knew she was thinking about it... checking out some plaster eggs.

My Trader Joe's hen laid her second for the year yesterday!

I hope the other two start laying again soon

Are you getting the freezing weather?

Supposed to be 71 for Mon-Tues. Good timing because Scooter really needs a bath.

Yeah, it’s freezing. I have to pry the quail pen open all the time. Another day, then it should all be okay by Monday. Sunday can’t decide, but the water I bring out should not freeze.

Still “only” three eggs every other day with one on the in between days.
I have a new Keurig, and showed Duckling how to use it. She made me a cup a little bit ago, and even brought it to me. Just when I thought I couldn’t love her more!

My hens are a bit hit and miss too still! The Pita Pinta has not laid an egg yet this season.
