Should I buy eggs or wait it out?

You held your pee for an HOUR?!?!

And with them pushing on you the whole time with cold gel?!?!?

I bow to your strong bladder, and excellent Kegel regimen!

y'all crack me up

Bummer. Not knowing and having to wait is the hardest thing! (Hence the attraction of folks to this thread.... waiting for eggs.....)

What's the next step? When will you know?
within the next few days. I have to see another doctor that specializes in something else.

You are more ... in need of medical treatment than I thought.
A normal ultrasound can only be done when the bladder is completely full. They have you just pull your jeans down enough that if you pee, you pee on your pants, shirt, etc. Good motivation to hold it.
If anyone's Dr. let them wear a gown, and there was a bathroom in the room (no need to get dressed before running for it!) I am jealous.

I would have peed the table.

wow, lots of reading to catch up on! hang in there animallover, they'll figure out what's going on... as for blood work... best advice I can give is drink plenty of water starting from the day before. if you are well hydrated, it all goes so much better, doesn't hurt as much and the veins are easier to get at.... I always ask for a pediatric butterfly needle, which is the smallest... I have good veins, so a bitty needle is fine. if I have not been allowed to eat before labs, I need an ice pack for the back of my neck, or I will faint. the ice packs works, I promise. if I've eaten, and am well hydrated, it's a breeze. good luck hun! we are all certainly keeping you in our thoughts!

long day, tired... and I have one little unhappy Peach, she stared out the window... but I know she's okay, I did take her out for a stroll, she stayed in my arms. it's cold... and the ground is once again covered in snow. One egg for me today, although one of the reds was in the nest, perhaps sitting on a few other eggs while waiting for hers to arrive. I never went back out to check. I'll get them in the morning! bed time for me! gotta get up way too early...
